What is PIDO/2?
PIDO/2 is a project realized from eCS and OS/2 users for the realization of documentation for eCS and OS/2 in Italian language. All work is carried out by keens during its spare time.

I'm an OS/2 user, can I participate?
Whoever can participate! Do not serve technical qualifications of any kind. There is a lot of work! From the writing the documents, to translation from other languages, from draft HTML pages to the simple reading of the written documents and saying your comment(s) and/or ask clarification(s)! A simple feedback can also help improve PIDO/2!

What rules must I follow to create documents?
The main formats of documentations are text and HTML. During the initial phase of the project we are draft the guide lines that every document of PIDO/2 must respect:
For the HTML pages don't forget the
symbols of the HTML entities
and download the HTML stylesheet to use.

Can I use other formats?
The only accepted formats beside TXT and HTML are the OS/2 INF and the PDF V1.2 (or older) that is recognized by Acrobat Reader 3 for OS/2. Normally these are not a substitutive formats of the same document in HTML and/or in plain text.

How can I create a PDF?
How I say in precedence the PDF is an additional format. This format was introduced because his creation is very simple with some tools from the HTML version.
